A Few Notes about Babies & Music 01/19/2010

Babies are responsive to music from the moment of birth, and listening to music can also increase a child’s awareness of the many ways sounds are produced.  Music can be calming and soothing or inspire movement and action.  Just in the same way that adults can find classical music to be calming, babies can be calmed and soothed by it as well.
