Just wanted to say I think it is ridiculous that your company has been attacked in such a way. My son loves your DVD’s, CD’s, Books and toys. Being a first time mother, I wasn’t really sure how to interact with him. Your DVD’s have helped. We sing and dance, he see;s all kinds of different things that he normally wouldn’t see. Thank you for making these products. You are not only teaching him but teaching me too. I will continue to purchase your products!!!!

I am very disappointed to read about the refund program for Baby Einstein videos. As parents and highly educated individuals we see value in the product and have enjoyed all of our Baby Einstein videos, books and DVDs. We use them daily with our 15 month old as part of the many activities he engages in and we see growth and he gets enjoyment from them. We watch the videos with him and talk as well as sign along with viewing the content. It is great material to discuss, create experiences and stimulate language. Thinking is required in all that one does with their children and if people have not used their understanding of child development and knowledge about their child’s interest in decision making about the use of the products, I do not believe the product developers should be held responsible.
We do not want a refund nor do we wish to return the product. We enjoy and appreciate the thoughtfulness in the design and content and intend to use them for a long time to come.

I cannot believe that your wonderful products are under attack. My family loves the DVD’s, flash cards, toys and books. They have helped me participate with my children. And my children always get smiley and giggly several times while watching the DVDs. I have given many of your products as baby gifts because I know how wonderful they were for me and my kids and wanted to pass on the same joy to others.I thank you for these products and will always be a proud Baby Einstein customer.

All four of my kids have loved the baby einstein dvd’s. My son plays the violin, my oldest daughter loves to sing and my younger 2 love all kinds of music. If nothing else, the videos encourage music appreciation and opens up a world that exposes them to a variety of colors, shapes, instruments, animals and words. I feel very lucky that I was able to buy these videos and share them with my children. I will not be seeking a refund and I will continue to share them with friends. Thank you baby einstein.

With our first child Abigail, Baby Einstein music was the only thing that would calm our baby who suffered from colic. We listened to the music in the car and she fell asleep at night to the cd in her room. She is now 4 and loves to read the Baby Einstein books. Her little sister is almost 2 and loves to watch the movies with animals. She also loves to run to her cd player and turn on her lullaby cd before bed. Baby Einstein has helped my children develop a love for music and reading and has provided great snuggle time for us. We love you and will continue to support your wonderful company! Thank you!

yes its great but its all about money, its a company that profits off te idea of teaching our children about the arts, music etc.. I bought ever single one little did I know what influence they would have on my child, shes extremely less communitive because most the shows do not talk! I wish to GOD i could turn back time and never ever watch another BABY einstein again.. not me not any of my children. Yes I think your product in moderation like maybe shown once or twice per program per year might be educational but to mass market them for parents who will use them too often is only in the name of money not the love of educating!

I”m a mother of 3,and we all love Baby Einstein. My youngest child is 18 month’s.She has learned all kinds of words, signs, and more. When she started saying the word ball around 15-16 month’s,we knew she learned it from her favorite dvd (First Signs).None of us taught her the word.Plus she signs like crazy,I didn’t think she would really start signing when we got her the dvd,she surprised us all! My opinion All Baby Einstein products are Awesome. She talks like crazy for being under 2, plus my sons use to watch some of these dvds when they were younger and they never had a communicating problem with anyone.Because my daughter took so well to signing I started to find more things to help her such as Hooked on Phonics Signing with baby.I thank Baby Einstein for what my children have learned from their shows. Please never stop making more!!

Thank you Baby Einstein for bringing a world of music, colors, animals and just plain magic to my daughter. She has loved all of her videos. We will continue to buy your products no matter what any naysayer has to say. And yes, she has even learned sign language and her body parts from watching your videos… though I only intended them for entertainment. Keep up the great work!

As an educator, I encourage all of you parents to stop putting your children in front of Disney’s Baby Einstein. Current research out of the University of Washington shows that regular child viewers of this product develop fewer words than those who do not watch. The Academy of Pediatrics says no screen time for children under the age of two. These are our nation’s pediatricians telling us that it harms our kids development. These products are marketed to parents who are wanting to do the best for their kids — Disney takes advantage of this and in fact offers a product that is harming them. Please do what is best for your child by turning off the screen and get down on the floor and play instead. The best development comes from interacting with you and other human beings, not a screen. Please ask Disney for a refund and let them know it’s not OK to take advantage of parents.

Thank you for everything Baby Einstein!! I and my 3 children love the Baby Einstein products and I have used the videos to help in teaching them their colors, shapes, numbers and the animals and the sounds they make. From these videos they have come to have a knowledge and love of the earth and all that is on it. Everyone who I have either gave a gift of the video or books or just told them about the products have said how much they love them. My children are now 6 (twins) and 3 and still love to put in one of the videos. They especially love the ones with the animals. Why can’t we just enjoy life in the many ways that we can and take advantage of the fun ways to learn? My son was in the hospital so much after birth and I loved using the music part of the videos for him to help keep him calm and relaxed. (These videos were recommended to me at the hospital by a child’s therapist.) Take advantage of starting your children on the adventure of loving to learn what is around us in a fun way. Baby Einstein rocks!
PS. My children have grown up on Baby Einstein and do not have a problem talking, learning or knowing how to communicate with anyone. Baby Einstein has always said their videos are for parent/child time, and when used properly, BE can be a useful tool in helping parents spend a little time with their children, instead of just watching cable all day, like so many do, while ignoring their children.
